MARCH . 2010

Dear Iris Friends,

Daffodils and tulips are coming out of the wet ground, must be that spring isn't very far away.  This will be the first year for many of my seedlings to bloom in their new home and I’m anxious to see how they do in their new home.  Many are still in Wilton but I hope to finish moving them up this year.

Thanks to all my customers in sticking with me through the move.  I had to make a few changes in my listing.  I’m only able to list current and past Lauer introductions along with the other hybridizers who have listed with me in past due to a limited amount of growing space I have at this time. I hope at some time to have more garden space but for now I’m only able to grow a limited amount of plants.  So please order early to ensure your plants are available.

This past year I was pleased to have been awarded two Awards Of Merit for MANGO PASSION and TOMCAT.  Also Oscar Schick was awarded an Award of Merit for AUGUSTINE and I was awarded Honorable Mentions for INDIAN SUNSET, PASSION PLAY, WHITE ROOM and RAMBLIN’ MAN (BB).  Joyce Ragle won for GRAIN EXCHANGE and Vernon Wood for his SDB MAGNETIC STORM. This year I will have two tall beaded introductions, KING OF THE ROAD and a rebloomer CARRY ON.  See my ad in the April AMERICAN IRIS SOCIETY BULLETIN.

Best Wishes,
Larry and Marcy
